With Music held its first benefit concert on August 1, 2017. The featured guest performers were three students from Sinaewon orphanage in Goyang, South Korea. They played two songs as a trio on the violin, cello, and flute. Their performance left a lasting impression to those in attendance. In 2017, three orphans from Sinaewon Orphanage in Goyang, South Korea came to
Los Angeles on a sponsored trip to experience a new life. During this trip, SARAH CHUNG saw the orphans give an impromptu performance on violin, flute and cello. After the performance, she met with a representative of the orphanage and learned that the orphanage had an established music program but lacked instruments. Through this encounter, the idea for “WITH MUSIC” was born.
WITH MUSIC has plans to increase its assistance to underprivileged communities in other ways besides monetary and instrument donations. WITH MUSIC continued to strive to enrich people’s lives through music.
